Yes, the red Haltech can certainly function exactly the same as the Platinum, you just have to tap a wire for the wideband. The Platinum has a wideband pinout, that's the only difference.

banging my head against the wall right now because this is so tempting and the only part left I need to install my greddy twin turbo... where are you located?

Fort Mill, SC. Shipping is included in the price anyway

I have no idea which wiring harness the white and black clips go to, I don't know how to install/tune these things.

allows you to easily wire in the dual wideband controller but should still be able to wire it in, mayby someone else with more knowledge on the non platinum can chime in but i know i saw instructions to wire the dual wideband controller into the non platinum somewhere.

It's a very simple difference. With the platinum, there's a pin out. With this one, you just tap a wire.
