I'm going to be upgrading my radiator here soon with a 36mm one, and was wondering which fans are you other Vortech guys are running? My oem fans are calling it quits so, should I replace them with the OEM ones again or is there a better option out there?
Why upgrade the radiator? Are your temps running high? If not, wouldnt it be cheaper just to replace your OEM fans?
I was going to upgrade my radiator but my temps never pass 210F and when they do my fans kick in dropping my temps back to 190F.

I need to replace the radiator(leaks) and it just so happens that the fans are calling it quits too. What I need is a fan shroud that accomidates the thicker radiator and the vortech kit. I'm looking for recommendations as to what some other Vortech guys are running.
I see. I was going to go with a Koyo 36mm and GTM Shroud for the Vortec. Its pricey but no modifications are required. But im in a G not sure on the specs for a Z. I know on the G the OEM shroud will need slight modifications.
I managed to fit the biggest Koyo in my car; Koyo 52mm, but I ended having to get aftermarket slims fans (in my case I got the Flex-a-lite 420, 2500 cfm)...

that's about as big as you can go, I doubt you can fit the PWR 56mm radiator with ANY fan setup out there...but keep in my this is for a built engine setup running over 500whp...
That being said, if you're still running in ~450whp on your stock blockyou should by fine with the 36mm setup, unless you track a lot...
