Default Gauges, Gauges, Gauges!!!

Question, will the following gauge configuration work with Osiris Uprev..?

I'm 03 Base, not sure if it matters...

Wideband O2 Air/Fuel UEGO Gauge Kit Wideband O2 Air/Fuel UEGO Gauge Kit

Fuel Pressure Gauge 0 to 100 psi Fuel Pressure Gauge 0 to 100 psi

Boost Gauge 35 psi Boost Gauge 35 psi

If this combo doesn't work, what do you recommend?

This is for the Vortech on a 928M 3.00 Pulley.

TIA

Uprev and Vortech dont care what gauges you buy.

Get an oil temp gauge too.

Get a lower reading boost gauge so the spread isnt so large on the dial IMO.

I would ditch the fuel pressure gauge and get a oil pressure gauge which is more important.

The wideband is nice if you know what you are looking at. It's mostly used for tuning and then once the tune is correct you use that as a reference and if your A/F doesn't look the same as when you first tuned it then you know something is wrong. Remember higher reading on the wideband means you running lean and lower readings means you running rich.

The boost gauge as others have said get a lower reading one so it's more spread out and as a note a boost gauge is nice to have but not really needed on a supercharger it's not like you would have boost spike or anything like that on a blower.

Just get a fuel pressure gauge that reads mechanically and put it right to the regulator.

Oil Pressure
Oil Temp
A/F
Coolant Temp

All Defi IMO.

I totally agree except Defi isn't necessary.
Plenty of other gauges that won't cost you an arm and a leg that will work just as good.

i just picked up autometer dial style guages myself 50 bucks for oil temp and boost each, 200 for fuel pressure with electronic sending unit but can get mechanical for 50 as well i just dont want to worry about a line busting or something. then i picked up a dual wideband guage from hal. im not into having multiple guages do the same thing stock is good enough for me but thats just me.

Default Guages

Defi does look the closest to OEM style, I like them. Fuel pressure, is it necessary? Not like i'm running NOS, i'm starting to think maybe just Boost, A/F and Oil Temp. I hate to mix gauges but AEM seems to have the best A/F wideband (digital). Keep the recommendations coming guys, thanks.

A/F
Oil Pressure (isn't this already there stock?)
Oil Temp
Boost (Would prefer this to be digital, lowest AEM has is 35psi spread)

Water temp is nice to have in my opinion. Especially on stock cooling.

I like Innovate A/F gauges more than the AEM's.

fuel pressure is just as important as a/f, if something is going on with your fuel pumps you will see it. you might drop fuel pressure on normal driving and without the guage you wont notice, then you hit wot you wont know and you will not be able to react quickly enough to the af guage to stop from blowing or seriously injuring the engine. fuel pressure is required, a/f is more of a tuning aid.

Default Gauges

Ahh, ok, good point Jerry. Ruthless I like the Innovative gauges as well, but they don't offer digital across the board. Has anyone used these Prosport Evo gauges?

I mentioned oil pressure because on the G35 it does not come stock something that the 350z does (I totally forget what forum I'm on sometimes)

Prosport evo= a bit laggy.

fuel pressure gauge is something you need for sure, but most builds (regardless of the car) I see run the gauge right off the FPR.

Know about the quality of them or not, they are much cheaper then autometers. Have any pics if you have them already?

Anybody else running prosport gauges? http://prosportgauges.com/amber_whit...ce_gauges.aspx

Although both are IMO manditory for a proper build, choosing just one I prefer to have A/F over fuel pressure in the cabin. Fuel pressure gauge under the hood is good enough for me.

I run the Prosport premium guage, the ones that goes black like the Defi when off. It does a full test sweep during start up and shut down. My boost and oil pressure comes with individual electronic sender units so the wire going to the gauge is pretty small and easier to route. I think they're of great value and a great alternative to the more main stream gauges.

The premium gauges look great, and its good to hear that they did a good job on wires. I'm more interested in the Prosport Evo's ... Man they look sweet
