Default Mishimoto hose and Vortech bracket trouble

I was just installing the Mishimoto hoses, and the top front hose that crosses over from left to right seems to be to thick to fit behind the Vortech bracket. Anyone else here have the same problem? What was your solution?

weld off those ports and not use that hose at all.

but as you have found, big silicone hoses dont fit. the stock hose barely fits.

Do not even install that hose, weld that shut!

I was trying to avoid welding it, but I guess now is a better time than ever. I tried getting by before by just putting rubber caps on them, but they dry out and crack over time.
