ACP - What does your Greddy kit offer? I was just looking at the prices on your site and they are VERY high compared to most of the other online shops.

Do you offer anything extra through customer service or what? Maybe home-made diagrams for the E-Manage install?

Ha, now that I look at it, your price is higher than Greddy's retail MSRP.... What gives? Typo? Maybe you meant 5,552.00 instead of the 6,552.00 you have listed. Greddy retail is 6,495.00.

Beyond that, you can pick it up from any sponsoring vendor for $5k.

If the Intercooler was alittle shorter, it could be made to fit inbetween the supports, but it doesn't, so they have to be removed.
Here is a picture of the Intercooler mounted

Here is a good picture of the fuel lines. They have to be wrapped, and tweaked alittle to get them out of the way, to make room.
What I did was take the fuel line that was on the left and put it on the right and bent it up. Also, for anyone viewing this pictures for reference, take notice of the top line coming in, where it plugs in, the hose has a 90 degree bend. I reversed the direction so that it is pointed to the back of the car, to help keep it away.

phunk, check out the location I installed the powering steering cooler.
Might not get the same air flow, but much better then what Greddy gives you.

ACP, Phunk - What are you guys using for Spark plugs? And exhaust systems? Are you guys running the RT high flow cats or straight pipes.

Great pics.

Ok a dumb newbie question. It appears the turbo cooler sits directly in front of the engine radiator. If so, is there a concern about the radiator effectivity?

here to learn

Default Air bag sensor, be careful. (nm)

Here is a couple pictures in front of the radiator, checking out how we are going to mount the intercooler

What is this sensor for in this 1st picture ?

phunk meantion in an earlier post he had to the remove the bumper support beam. But it looks to me, if we just remove the braket (drill out the rivots and remove the one bolt) and relocate it, along with relocating the horns and power steering fluid cooler, that there will be enough room to mount the intercooler.

Here is a picture looking down at the space

Good job! Keep the pics coming!

I am about one click away from ordering one!

Does the stock exaust bolt up to the turbos turbine outlet? Do you think you could install this entire kit without a lift?

I have been wrenching this kit in for days. Never expected it to be this cramped. Everything is mm away from touching each other.

ACP: Looking great! I really like your idea on the power steering cooler. Cant beleive I didnt just think of that. Oh well I got this other thing going on that I am gonna stick with. The only reason I put any priority on power steering cooling is because I have some friends that road race and have run into problems... I personally never have but I didnt want to start with this car.

Yea I think the main reason you cannot fit the bumper support with the intercooler is just because of the upper inlet. If it used a single end tank on that side and had just one lower inlet and the pipes made a collector, I bet it could have fit with little or no modifications.

My project has not come very far yet, as I have been working harding moving and setting up my new shop and all the great new things inside it. My Z is all taken apart, just waiting to be put together with the new stuff. The manifolds, downpipes, and turbine housings I need to pick up from the ceramic coating place.

once again tho... looking great and I cant wait to see your results.
