Forged Performance: 5th Annual ZDayZ Airstrip Event
I asked Sharif to de-tune my car 100hp and also remove the drive shaft that powers the front differential. I wanted to make it a fair race when I go up against that viper again this year,....
Ahh - well I've had a conflict come up - actually knew it might happen but was hoping I could squeeze this event in. If anyone wants my spot, I will not be able to be there. Sorry Paul, Sharif - hope to catch you next year.
Forged's high 900whp GTR was untouchable. I could never get my boost control dialed in so only made a couple passes.
The event was definitely dominated by GTRs. You can tell the aftermarket support for those cars is really alive compared to FI VQs.
I think Ryan@forged GTR on a partial tune was also one of the fastest cars as well.
Big event, like 23 cars driving, lots of spectators, no mishaps and good pizza for lunch.
Thanks Forged for putting this on again this year!

At least i know the car was making some power but had not control.

Anyone have Video's ?
Too bad man, I was looking forward to hearing how your car did at this event.
Great time. Thanks again to all the forged folks for hosting another successful and safe event.
Raj, I made the mistake of taking Ryan's car down the airstrip so I will be getting that Forged turbo upgrade on mine before next years event. Wish you could have made Fontana, we had a good morning run on the dragon and down Hwy 28 after breakfast. Remind me to tell you about Sharif and I apexing the tractor mowers and cleaning the freshly cut grass from the front air dams of our two cars. We pulled into fontana and a couple of people thought we had gone off, LOL.
The viper guy showed up but decided not to race this year. He told me he is getting a new viper which has traction control for next year
Doug's 900hp GT-R came out on tops. Just hearing that monster at idle makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Seeing it go down the airstrip was worth the trip for sure. There is certainly a new bar which has been set by Sharif. Hal even got two tries at keeping his trophy but in the end the trophy went back to Marietta this year.

edit: Chad took no less than a 1000 pictures so I am sure he will post up plenty.
