HKS GT Supercharged 2.0.. HKSGT8555
Well the boost bug bit... really hard. I love my HKS kit and wanted something in the 450whp+ area so I contacted GearHeinz about upgrading my current set up to a HKSGT8550. My current set up made 295whp on a Mustang AWD and it was plenty fast, I will dyno it on a DJ when I get home to see if there really is a 20% variation between the different dynos.
The plan is to get a new HKSGT8555... that's not a typo, Yes a HKSGT8555 which hasn't been introduced formally but GH is pulling some strings to get this done. I'd like to stick to the whole HKS theme as I think it sets my Z apart from the others. I'm also going to have a short block built by GH and use my heads. Specs and info on the HKSGT8555:

I originally thought I was going to cannibalize my current set up to accommodate the new one but since I have an extra HKSGT7404 mounting plate, I can get everything completed and sell my HKS Rotrex as a complete kit sans the Uprev. New set up details:
HKSGT8555 Blower kit:Blower,Lines,Fluid,Filter and Cooler assembly.
HKSGT7404 Modded bracket
HKS Intercooler
Modded intercooler piping
Modded intake piping
HKS BOV(specs will determine which one)
HKS Filter
HKS head gasket
Nismo headers
Cosworth fuel rails
Cosworth oil pump
Fluidampr crank pulley
Motordyne 5/16 spacer
DW 800cc injectors
DW300 or DW340 fuel pump
We're working out the details on the block and once that's complete, the short block will be shipped to Danny at Slammered-inc for the install. I'll have the first HKSGT8555 in the US and I'm hoping to see more than 460whp. I'm out of the country until the end of September so I'll be amassing parts as I go, once we get this project rolling GH will be updating me on the progress and I'll post them here.

UPDATE!!! 8Jun2012
I got GearHeinz the deposit about 3 weeks ago and my RevUp long block is at the machine shop. The blower assembly should be in the US by next month or so which is a hell of a lot quicker than I expected. I'm getting a couple other people involved for freshening up the engine bay but those won't be available to view until I get back. I'll post pics as I get them.

Read... I don't know you or your build but my "295whp" is C6 Vette fast and some people say Mustang AWD's read lower than DJ and DP. DD's and Mustangs are "heartbreaker" dyno's and if your up to it... you can line up against my Z when I get home so I can prove a point. I know you didn't mean ill when you typed this but I'm reading "*******s Finish First"-Tucker Max and I'm having a really shitty week... sorry.

LOL.. Thanks.
Thanks broskie... I'm going to email you about the Cosworth fuel rails if they're still available.
I was a little bitter I couldn't be at his Open House for the shop... I had a great experience with Danny so contracting his services was an easy choice.
LMAO... I've been asked that only a million times. I have a D1 HKS one that's only for pics. How's your build going dude?!!!
Thanks Shane... I took your advice from my OT thread lol.
Thanks Steve!
Thanks
Thanks, I have hope because when HKSUSA closed their doors they're in the process of RD'ing the HKSGT8550 kit that never came to fruition but GH got his hands on a lot of HKSUSA products. Crtan77 bought the HKSGT8550 kit that originally made 460whp on a built block, stock head, and F-Con.

The Rotrex C30/HKSGT7404 sound awesome... they're quiet and most people don't even know my car is FI'd if I shift under 3k rpm. I grew up around Mustangs and though the Vortech is awesome... I can't stand the constant whine of the blower.
