Default Another HKs Supercharger build

Ok after selling my Greddy Tuner... then buying a Turbonetics(now pending sale)... now I bought a HKS SuperCharger kit from Kasimmmmmm. I'm really going to finish the Z this time around so here's my build list so far. I'm currently in Afghanistan and all these parts will be at my house on arrival. Asterisk items on my list are optional and not 100% sure. I'm getting info from different area's and I read pretty much all of ITOzann's build thread, I'm holding off on headers b/c I don't think it'll be worth it. Kasim made about 360wph/290Tq so with the extra things I'm picking up I should be in the 370/300ish arena.

-HKS Supercharger kit... a HKS7404... now a Rotrex C30-94
-Osiris Uprev Tuner
-90mm pulley
-600cc DW's
-Walbro FP
-CJM Stage 0
-Motordyne ART Pipes
-Motordyne MREV 2
-Motordyne XYZ Resonated Y-pipe
-Greddy Spectrum Elite
-Stillen Oil Cooler
-Stillen Oil pan
-ARC V2 CatchCan
-Power Steering and Coolant Overflow cans Via Sean:

I just ordered the HKS Carbon Fiber engine cover so hopefully I'm able to get it. The pipes are going to be powder coated candy purple to match my brakes but the intercooler stays in either natural metal color or the end tanks get painted black. I'm limited to exhaust options due to my 1st Moulding Diffuser so it has to be an OEM styled exhaust.

The kit has an older Rotrex Supercharger so I'm waiting for Sam at GTM to confirm I can do the Power Upgrade to the older unit. He sometime's takes a while to respond so as soon as I get some clarification... let the ordering begin.

Those who have the kit are more than welcome to chime in. I know a lot of people talk about going FI but this will be my only attempt and after my Z... normal road going non modded cars for me.

I think it's going to be included but I'm not 100% sure... since I ordered the HKS Engine Cover already, I'm dedicated to keeping the stock set up.

You don't need the 3" MAF since you will be tuning the car in MAP from the haltech no?

Correct, haltech tunes on MAP not MAF.

Sorry dude... I saw a good deal and didn't wait. I do still have the Turbonetics though, if the local sale falls through... I'll make you an offer you can't refuse. I believe you remember the kit... it was the one that Worthy tried bamboozeling but I ended up getting it. Treadstone Performance in Miami FL bought the rights to the TN kit and they're the ones who manufacture the kits, so I'm going to get the replacement parts through them and they'll tell me exactly what I need.

Why are you changing your mind on kits so much?

What is a GTM power upgrade? Are you an auto?

I'm hoping to find a Nismo S-Tune... I had a Fujitsubo and I loved the sound and non drown rumble but I feel the outlets where pretty big which may have been a problem with my 1st Moulding. So since the S-Tune is a Fuji with smaller outlets, it's perfect. I love the Greddy Spectrum that Midz350 posted but man... I like keeping things a little less flashy. I know purple brakes sounds loud but you'd be surprised how many people don't even notice them( I had some on a Lexus SC300 with a LS400 4pot conversion).

Here's what I'm working with in terms of my exhaust opening.

There's 3 angles of the exhaust opening and thats an OEM exhaust... the fit is tight.

If I get a Nismo R-Tune rear section... I'll drop in a XYZ pipe and call it a day.

Nismo is a great choice for SC. I would highly recommend the following combo for the perfect power/sound

ART pipes
XYZ with HFC module and of course Nismo since thats what u want.

I got a thought in my head of the pure orgasmic sound this combo would make

LOL... Alberto you actually made me realize what big boost means in terms of maintenance and just **** breaking. I was hasty when buying the TN kit and the HKS is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm a 6-speed and the GTM power upgrade is an upgraded pulley, intake w/filter, and belts. The intake snake's right under the driver's headlight for cooler air.

The past 3 or 4 days I have been helping a friend install a GTM S/C on a 370Z.

Took a ride in it yesterday logging some things, and no BS, I was "satisfied" with the linear pull the car made. Its no drag king or highway monster, but if way more FUN is what you are after, the S/C will do the trick, keep a smile on your face, and hopefully not break the motor, or the bank.

Clutch?

I have an ACT Stage 2 clutch kit... I needed a clutch a couple year's back so I figured it was adequate. I think I'm going to upgrade the VSLD to a Quaife, Z1auto Poly tranny mount, and SPL the whole rear diff but that's a little later though. I don't race, I'd love to start tracking the car so this would be more for a "just for fun" set up.
