Saw a couple G's there... One had the same timing chain sound I had on mine. Not sure if that was yours or not, but both G's were super clean looking.

Yes the new OEM intake cam sprockets along with the revup oil pump (didn't have one before) solved my issue.

The other thing I did was shaved the interior of the front timing case where it rubbed a bit. Not only did I give it more clearance, but it allowed me to see where the slack in the chain could come from so if it happened again, it wouldn't be a problem, and knock on wood since I've done all that it hasn't been an issue since.

i haven't used the flex feature yet. I just recently got it installed. I need too take it back for a re-tune on E85. Shouldn't be long. Plan on doing it after i get back from a vacation with the family..

had a fuel pressure issue at like 1230a so i had to stay overnight. gonna finish today. really just tuning driveability and cranking. worry about boost later when i have more time.

I can understand how working with Ray influenced your decision to keep the ProEFI

Yea, he's top notch and will explain everything you ask. He knows that system in and out and jumps back and forth between the two systems like it's nothing. Hope everything works out well for you Rich.

awesome results.

i have that cam noise too. Never had it until this last short block swap. I saw one of my timing cam sprockets a little wear from the front cover so i swapped it with another set i had in the garage....that's what started my noise. I'm too lazy to take it apart and put the "good" one back in though.
