Living in Canada we have R32and R33s like crazy, 90% of them beat down junk with altered mileage on the odometers.....stock R33s are ugly as **** they look like an old school Maxima the GTS is even worse they are redhead children with no redeeming value besides its "rare" Have you ever driven a RHD car it's a total pain in the ****. You can't see to make left hand turns, you can't go through drive throughs, get parking stubs or anything else that requires paying while in your car.

This.

It's not a GTR so I would say no.

Having lived in Australia where GTS-T's can be had for $5000 and 350z's are over $20,000... I can't help but laugh at this thread I know you can't compare it, but still.

Surely you aren't considering a straight swap?

R33 GTR maybe... GTS-T? Hell no.

Like I said it was a frustration post and I have come back to my senses. Just about everything that could go wrong with the build did. From improper install/torque on pretty much every fastener in the engine from the 1st company that lead to a blown headgasket after a few miles, to a brand new fuel regulator going bad, to 2 injectors going down, to an ECU malfunction, to oil leaking in the turbo from a faulty check valve, etc, etc. Z Fever in Tampa has been awesome with helping me through this and rebuilding the motor again (machine the heads and the block since the other idiots did not do it the first time) without absolutely raping my wallet.
I am keeping the Z and will post pics and the dyno chart tomorrow when I get it back. Or shall I say if I get it back tomorrow.

As much as i would love an R33 GTS-T , screw that trade. BTW i would rather have a GTS-T any day over a GTR. Im not big into awd and they are a pain, also everyone always swaps to a single turbo anyhow.

rb20=dogsheet. LAWL

Again OP if you can get money back it wouldn't be a BAD trade, especially if you were cali that would be a rather good one.

But that depends if you can handle having a slower, worse handling, worse looking, older, probably illegal car...

EDIT:
I hadn't realized you have a fully built block....

R32 GTS-T is really simple to swap out to an RB25
R33 GTS-T already has the 25

A mildly build RB20 is still a lot of fun.

Btw, the going rate on a Motorex R32 GTR is slightly over $30k, I don't know what the newer legal cars are going for.

I know many of the intracacies of the rb family, before deciding to build the z I wanted a s13 or s14 with an rb25 swap... rb20 if the funds were low... And now im roughly 25k into my z lol

According to Nissan Motorsports, the problem is mostly due to the EPA violation of a OBD2 car masquerading as an ODB1 (96's turning into 95's). They went further to tell me Motorex status does not save a 96 from deportation, but you can run a 95 all day without fear. That is from them...not from me.

One of my friends has a beautiful R32 and a R33 that was used for parts that he's trying to rebuild...very awesome cars

So here we are at 6pm EST and still no Z. The build from hell continues well into month 14 as both O2 Sensors are acting up. One side reads 75% and the other 125%. Replaced both and still getting the same readings. The Z Fever guys are checking the ECU and so forth as the car is on the dyno as I write this.
Any ideas? Please don't say Haltech as I don't have another $2k-$3k to throw at this car right now.

try switching where they are wired into the haltech, i had th EXACT same problem 25% was the max correction factor i had set and i had it wired exactly how the directions told me which was backwards. switched them and works great what was happening is bank 2 was seeing bank 1 go rich so took fuel away making bank 2 lean, then bank 1 would see bank 2 lean ad add fuel making bank 1 rich all the way to max correction.

or you could switch the plugs where the 02 sensors are plugged in w/e is easier for you

Clarification - I don't want to have to spend another $2k-$3k for a Haltech. I'm on stock ECU tuned with Osiris.
