Default fi damaged trans :o

so hard 2nd 3rd 4th shift and this happened today

on a side note i found a guy locally with a g37 6 speed trans. im almost positive the HR trans is the same as the vhr trans, can anyone confirm?

and on another side note, removing the tranny with the gtm external down pipes and wastegates in place is a motherf*cker

damn, this is a first for our transmissions so I would look for impurities like someone mentioned.

Is that an unsprung OS giken? that puts some extra stress on that input shaft but they have held quite a bit more power with no issues. Hell, Hal racks those gears hardcore in his car at the track!

Glad you found something to replace it with fast. I would rebuild that one and sell it to break even

id call nissan to get a part number for the whole assembly and compare it with infiniti's part number. otherwise, i'd like to think they are the same as well.

Triplate OS. It is pretty stiff I'm sure that had a lot to do with it
