Jtran thanks for the input, what if I wanted to reroute the Wastegate? could I just run a straight pipe to the exhaust in the orientation it sits now? Also if you take a look at the final install I just posted it looks a little more symmetrical. I intersected the 3 inch 45 degree pipe right at the middle of the bend. I aimed the pipe from the header as if we're a Normal y pipe. I'm sure with more material and time I could have made a little smoother transition but I drove the car untuned stock fuel to get gas and the bov screamed shifting at 2500 rpm trying to stay out of boost.

anything that has to do with the hot side of the system even on the wastegate dump tube, it has to go with the flow of the exhaust stream. if you set it up where both the exhaust streams are clashing, it will slow down the velocity. turbo needs two things to spool, heat and velocity. if you slow down the velocity then you have an inefficient kit. just a little more time and a few more bends wouldve made this kit spool faster and make more power just from channeling the flow efficiently.

compouding this setup is not needed at all konrad! single 4088 journal bearing t4 divided with stock cams and ports with stock intake manifold full spooled at 4200-4300 and made power to 7200! do a t4 divided setup and if that doesnt work on the spool side, then throw a quick spool valve in there! running two quick spool valves on a twin 67mm ford gt (motor in the back) and it made a huge difference on spool! just remember, you have to merge the two banks into one before hitting the t4 divided flange!

Car made 406 wheel at 5.5 psi wasn't able to turn up the boost my solenoid wasn't working correctly. A very nice basemap from Johnny tran car gets 19mpg to a full tank not bad. Going back to dyno tomorrow with mbc hope for 500 at under 10 psi

really nice. actually my brother's g37s is being built at S&R right now. top-mount single and a built bottom end let's see how much you make.. I bet you will make around 570whp with that much boost. Just keep an eye on your AFR to make sure you're running safe. good luck ::thumbsup::

so i never really looked closely at my dyno graph because i was happy with 400 wheel at 5 psi but now im noticing i stoped making power at 6000 rpm. in thinking either my air filter is too small its a k&n i had laying around from my 350z cold air intake the typhoon kit, or the car is a little too rich because i based my fuel map off of a johnny tran map for 9psi, or is it normal for these engines to stop making power around there.

I'm pretty sure when I turn the boost up it will lean out just right. I messed with the tune alot on the street and the dyno I didn't want to take fuel out till I added boost and I had a boost controller issue at the dyno I'm going back to dyno pretty soon here

It's not the ideal turbo for this setup my billet half ball bearing 67mm had bad seals and company wouldn't warranty it because it was day 31, and the warrantee was only 30 days. The turbo on the car is a turbonetics 60-1 with a .81 backside 360 journal. I'd like to speak with you over the phone if I could Sasha I have a few ideas floating around in my head could be beneficial to the both of us. maybe you could pm me a contact number and good times to reach you? I'm in new jersey I think that puts me 2 hours ahead of you. thanks

Love it dude, truly authentic. Keep the pics comin. I may have missed it but what kind of intercooler did you go with? I think you'll have no problem hittin 500 around 10 psi but what do I know...keep us updated

If that is a T3 then it is your problem. I used a 6266 T4 1.0 a/r twin scroll, and got 550whp (DJ) at under 10psi of boost. Also got 400ft/tq from 4250rpm to 7000rpm.

Will shoot you a PM.

It is a t4 it was produced for the rx7 fd 600hp single turbo kit. Although they only have 1.3l they actually flow more air then our cars somehow. Looking forward to chatting with you. If we can figure out a way to make this idea a reality, There will be big opportunities.

afr in the 9's is way too rich. 11.1 to 11.4 afr is good. no need to lean it out. drop off up top might be that small turbo not able to hold up. 60-1 turbo is the stock turbo that comes on the turbonetics single turbo kit on the 350z and g35. that turbo alone maxes out pretty quick and can only do about 400whp safely without pushing the limits of the compressor map. as far as spool goes, it seems a little lazy for a 60-1 with a .82 backside and the t4. good numbers, take it to a dynojet and see what it will put down. dynomite dynos read high as ****.
