If you are getting a Greddy TT, are you planning on turning it up past 5.5?

I will be rebuilding the engine for lower compression and high boost. Currently the product availability is limited, so the year long wait is partly due to lack of parts. I will sleeve the block, thange pistons, rods and cams to achieve this.

Tony is right, he is the creator of the blue beast. He just worked at Jotech while he did it.
Tony, wish you could have helped me out on mine too, but I couldn't wait. I would like you to look at it when it is done and give me your opinion as well. Hope all is well with the race cars.

Agent Orange - It will be interesting to see how thing s go. I will let you sit on top of the "Top 10 FI Z's" for awhile, while I recover from this financially.
Side note, I am doing the fuel pump and clutch now. OS Giken clutch and Aeromotive Tsunami fuel pump.
Tony- I will definitely let you know when it is done. Ton is doing the work.

aeromotive runs inline on the stock fuel line. it generates higher pressure by getting more power from the DFMU... higher boost = higher voltage = more flow from aeromotive = higher fuel pressure...

Thanks,
That 's the POS I just pulled out of my "complete" kit lol. I was looking for a swap out of the stocker but found out I don't need it.
Most of us ATI SCer guys that had that bundled in their kit are removing it, those that are keeping it don't race, dyno or drag.

Max,
Skidazzle and I are both using the DFMU with an Apex SAFC II to fine tune the fuel. The DFMU will work, but it needs some fine tuning, hence the SAFC II. I know that alot of SC guys have ditched the DFMU in place of TS fuel delivery, but fuel delivery was never the issue, it was timing....right?
I am asking you, because you are way ahead of me on the knowledge of the FI fuel and timing. Do you think the DFMU is a large part of the ATI problems?

You completely lose your timing control and over 240 adjustment points among other things.
...And do you care to quote me a price for the E-manage? Does it come with all of the appropriate harnesses?

MrBonus, Just about anything is better than the SAFC. I do not recommend anyone use it on a Z. It is a good piece for some applications, but not for a FI Z. The E-manage is a great unit, and it's even better when used with the greddy E-01 boost controller.

Yancy, which BOV are u using?? Is it universal? One last thing, do all BOV come with the flange? Im not familiar with what this is? Some shops charge like 20-30$ for a flange. What is this? Any one please. THanks

What ever the BOV you choose, you must purchase a flange from the same brand. Example, like Greddy, the flange is 25-30 depending on the metal. 350Z TT kit uses aluminum pipes so you must buy aluminum flange. Then you have to let some welding shop to tig weld the flange on. But remember, Aluminum is harder to weld than steel, so shop charges more.

fernandito7, I have the Turbo XS BOV. I'm technically challenged when it comes to whether it's universal or comes with a flange etc. I deferred to the installer (Guru) when getting this BOV because he liked the sound of it and it is loud which I like (apparently the only main difference with all BOVs is the sound). I haven't heard it yet though - I'll be picking up the Z either today or tommorow.

Yancy, TurboXS ships thier BOV's with aluminum and steel flanges and adjustment kits. I'm going to have to shoot up to that shop and have another look at your car now that it's done!
