Default Besides less HP, any negatives of keeping stock headers and cats with a SC

wondering if anybody has insights as to whether keeping the stock headers and cats would negatively affect an engine with a SC, beyond the hp/torque hits.

assuming a sc running at around 7psi, would the stock backpressure decrease reliability or make certain parts of the engine work harder than if a setup included aftermarket headers and high flow cats (assuming a large dia exhaust is used regardless)

not looking for hp hit or expense discussions

thanks

all the SC that are out there were tested with stock headers and cats. So I would say reliablity would be about the same depending on how you look at it
