They explain how their particular set up was done and what methods/tweaks that they had to do to achieve their goal hp.
I was asking advise for a parts list that includes recommend brands and what overall is a must like low compression pistons made by whomever, 600cc or 1000cc injectors, and etc.

Look at some threads and maybe ask some specific questions of parts you are thinking about getting and see what the collective community thinks of those parts. Quite a few threads have discussed types of rods and pistons in great detail.
As for your questions. The best thing to do is contact a shop. If you have 15k you can easily get an assembled block at any of the reliable Z shops. Since you are in chicago I would suggest Sound Performance. Otherwise I would suggest Dynosty for a short block. For engine parts alone 15k is plenty. That would actually get you a fully assembled built engine ready to drop in. I would work with parts that the tuning shop recommends since they will be working with the car the most.
My last block was pauter rods and Arias ED pistons. This current block is a pre-assembled Dynosty block with CP pistons and eagle rods. Both have been quite reliable for my HP. My current hp is 652hp at 20psi with a Boosted Performance midmount 6765 turbo kit. I love my boosted performance kit. Simple install, amazing quality and a few grand cheaper than any other single turbo kit.

I think I would just keep the 15k and save up till GTR's become available a little cheaper, seems its going to be hard to build a car that keeps up with it and that will be as reliable as it is factory bone stock.
Just my .02.
The Z has great looks but performance comes at a price and if you have ever heard of the builders triangle, you know what I mean:
"fast, good, cheap : pick 2".

upgraded intercooler, exhaust, and a tune will get a GTR into the 10's. If you do e85 you will need just upgraded injectors and the previous mentioned stuff and you can get low 10's.

yup enjoy having a car thats boring, a e5 at my company did the same thing sinks all his money into maintenance and complains daily how he would rather drive a stock z because the gtr is boring and does so much for you............... to top it all off i still destroy him too and only have 1/3rd into my car what he paid.
Ha, sorry if I'm annoying to you Jerry. I have decided to just keep the Z stock. After doing a little browsing, I've decided that I'm gonna try to put the 35k down on a local GTR and finance the remaining amount. It's priced at 80k tho but hell, at least I'll have a badass car lol. Thanks everyone for the replies.

ooooooooo you do know there a thread dedicated to 17 y.o. right? please move dreamer bs over there please pics with your username on a paper or it dint happen.
FYi bro, I could just flat out buy the GTR if I wanted to but it would take almost all of my bankroll to purchase it. You'd be surprised what a person that plays poker for a living makes.... I grew up building cars with my father so maintenance wouldn't be a problem unless it HAS to be done at a dealership. Btw, I actually do have a Z lol. Also had an s13&s14 240sx too with an rb25 in the s14 and sr20 in the s13.
