That is completely stock from Nissan. No N/A tune, no K&N filter, no exhaust. 100% showroom, dealership stock. LOL

I might take you up on that offer if I ever attend a future Z meet up. You're a crazy SOB for running R888's on the street (and on HRE 19's no less)! :P

i didnt fully take advantage of the meth, as my psi at higher rpms is only 16psi. but its more of a piece of mind and helps keep intake temps low, and about 7% or so less injector duty cycle.

LOL Well if you come out let me know. And why am I crazy for running R888's on the street on my HRE's?

OK. Thanks for the input. I've been tossed up on getting a meth kit or not. I've seen some great results on LS based cars and of course the Mitsu/Subie AWD cars running high boost (25-30+). Guess I'll save the cash though.

It doesn't loose much steam. From 5000 rpm at peak of 550hp it only drops to 520 at redline. That's not much drop for turbos that are maxed out. Tq always drops as it is inverse to RPM.

Nice work robert! You'll love the car. I'm not sure putting meth or anything else on it will be worth the money for its return. At that point you will have to start running drag slicks and all to keep traction so the fun factor starts to taper off.

Congrats man. Solid pump gas numbers.

I'm assuming the f@ggot complaint about the power curve has an NA Z. Fawking jokers.

Thanks Binder. Yeah I looked at the GT28's efficiency map and figured out 16-18psi was full efficiency. Why there is no reason to run more boost. I think with a bit higher compression and maybe a smaller cam the power would move left a little. But none-the-less this should be a fun car to drive on the street or track (road and drag).

Was tossed up with the meth kit. I'm gonna hold off though. Maybe in the far future due to Houston summer heat, but not right now. As far as DR tires I'm already running 305 Toyo R888 tires.

Thank Alberto. I'm looking forward to seeing how the Shell URT 100 helps.

Goes to show that even on a bone stock VQ a tune is by far the best bang for buck.

Well back in the day all we had was the UTEC. LOL Now with UpRev I'll agree with you.

Nice choice on tires. A great alignment will be the biggest issue. Get that neg camber down as far as possible. The furthest I could get mine was -1.2. I wanted to get it down under -1 but it started throwing my toe way off. With 650 the mickey thompson 305's still didn't hold very well on the street but it is what it is.

As for the higher octane and meth. If you do anything i would say get an injection kit and just run water injection. That won't require a re-tune and will make your power more consistent in the heat.

Thanks for the input! Really appreciate it! As far my alignment I don't know the specs. Being in Iraq it's hard to communicate a lot of info. I told PowerFab that I wanted a "squared" set-up. I want the most tire patch and not the crazy camber ****.

We're doing the Shell URT100 for dyno numbers. Don't think I'll be running it that often. But who knows. I haven't research water injection for the VQ. Thanks for the tip!

Hey I stand corrected. Just talked to PowerFab and they are going to use Shell URT Advance for the race gas tune. Unsure if they will mix or not. Forgot to ask.
