I sure hope its not bogus. This dreamworkes system being as powerful AND reliable as they were claiming would be the best option for SCs. Especially with the warranty and the fact there will be no hood modification. We'll just have to wait and see i guess.

I didn't think they took anyone's money yet.
If it was a scam it was a wierd one, since they weren't accepting orders as far as I know.
Maybe they hit a production snag?

I spoke with Goran at DW in early November and he said they would give 10% off of the retail price if I was willing to put money down to get on the preorder list. I'm hopeful that they will prove to be a great choice at some point, but I wasn't willing to send them any funds until I had a better idea of the release date. Besides, 10% off of retail isn't exactly a great deal.

Saw DW @ SEMA. They were asking 10% there also.
I guess the have a big brake kit in the works also.
I was told by the end of January. Who knows. It could all be B/S.

lets say 10% from a 100 people. That sounds like a pretty good scam considering I don't think they even have a full working prototype. preoders are just a bad idea. in general.

yup I saw them at SEMA too... they seemed pretty legit. Why would they waste so much money in developing the charger for the fx and to display at SEMA just to scam? doesn't make sense. Maybe they just don't come on the forum anymore...we shouldn't jump to conclusions.

Having a booth at SEMA and making it look legit ain't cheap.
How many pre-orders could htey have gotten to make it worth going to SEMA?
I sure hope the guys who gave DW money get their products. I think it is a little too soon to panic.
Are they still answering their phones? If someone is getting worried they _could_ call DW, express this concern, and ask them to come see the plant and take a tour. If they agree to the tour they are probably legit. (even if you don't really expect to go on the tour)

Our 3.5 L motor has ran on an engine dyno at 5300 rpm reading 420bhp for two hours with stock internals.
We have other cars with higher then stock compression being totally abused on the street with thousands of test miles; all with no failures. The only reason for the delay is our machining process, this was explained on Performance Nissans’ Post, I believe around page 10.
Please be assured, we are real and so are our products, as you will all see shortly.
Sincerely,
Nick Vitucci
P.S. We specialize in Nissan 2.5L and 3.5L; we don't do
MAZDA RX-8 and did not post on any Mazda forum.

It's like a game of telephone on these forums sometimes. One person says something and the next guy misinterprets it and all of the sudden Dreamworkes stole peoples money and left.
