I'm guessing you really trust in your welds, but it just looks sketchy to me. The factory motor mount brackets are thick cast pieces whereas you're relying on what looks to be a 1.5" diameter tube welded on both sides. I just hope it's sturdy!
Otherwise, looks like you are well on your way to making pretty insane power, as long as you can get ECU/tuning issues out of the way.

Yes, I trust my welds. Plates are 3/8" steel and the pipe is 1.25" diameter 1/8" thick wall. I'm sure it's as strong as the cast aluminum pieces on the VQ35. The pieces are so short and they share the load, there is not way there is enough leverage to bend or damage them with whatever this motor can give it.

If anyone is interested, I have a Nismo flywheel and clutch that came with this car. Guy said it was put in 1500 miles ago.

Ok update,
I talked to the engineers at work and they are going to build a universal CAN bus interface. They are going to start with the 350z but later offer other CAN protocols for other makes.
Here is the rough system diagram we came up with. We wanted to keep it simple so we used GM sensors as the standard.

Nice, good for those wanting to covert other motors over tot he Z platform.
I talked to Syvecs, they told me the ECU for the DE is around ~$2800 and the HR is ~$6500. Big difference between the two. I was really leaning on going with this system, but Haltech does pretty much everything I need it to do without losing an arm or leg for an ecu. I may as well go Motec if I were to use the HR setup.
Still looks like a great system to use though, MAYBE I can get someone to give me a good deal .
I wish I could work on my Z as much as you. I only get to see mine every two weekends lol. Almost like child custody haha.

I know this but other cars do. How do you think all these new cars calculate when the oil needs to be changed.......oil temp. Lots of stock turbo cars do have boost gauges.

Retail?
Are you planning on selling a kit for this? I would definitely be interested in this once the vq has been used up. Vr6 engines are plentiful, affordable, and capable. Most of the chassis they come in suck... FWD or R32 awd. Neither of which fit my cup of tea.

I was just about to say, Megasquirt is the way I'd go with this build, unless there was a simple plug and play haltech etc option...
Retail?

Something you might consider is selling both that adapter plate and a template for it. You could charge a pretty good amount for it and it would be pretty much pure profit for yourself if you're on a tight budget for production. Also definitely look into selling turbo manifolds and or custom intake manifolds that re-use our TB. LMK if you need a welder for manifolds... A buddy may or may not be interested.
Glad to see you're doing this!

Thank you! We are blessed with three great kids now.
This is what i got in from Z1 this week and the new motor will be here Monday. I'll post how I modify the flywheel to work on the VR6.
