In my search to find L19 stud, someone told me ARP sells now Custom Age 625 Plus rather than L19. Anyways, L19 is back order until mid march...
Suppose to be better.
Someone used/tested it?
I can't find any parts # for these stud.
Thanks!

ARP can make you studs/bolts in just about any material you could want. From what I know the custom age bolts/studs are usually made for custom orders.
Although Custom Age is stronger than tool steel, l19's have yet to fail anyone.
I'm sure someone has l19's. Try getting ahold of Dynosty.

Absolutely do not use arp2000's. It doesn't surprise me at all that GTM would recommend them instead of l19's. 2000's aren't BAD per say, it's just L19's are on another level of strength. Very much worth the price difference.
I'm surprised they're on back order. But if you can get 625's for that price (beats l19's at their $400) that's a pretty good deal.
I feel like something's off here though. I'd look into it, but I have homework to finish.

the 625+ studs are stronger then l19s its pretty much arp2000<l19<625+
now with that said if you found a set for $300 dont touch them, someone is scamming you trying to sell you arp2000's as 625+, because they are stronger and require different processes 625+ are very very expensive. arp dosnt even make them off the shelf for our platform(or really any platform outside of diesels) and even the stuff they do make off the shelf is $1000+ so like i said someone is trying to scam you
to get arp to make them for our engine your probably looking at least $1600 for a custom order mayby more

Who knows what the 625+ would cost. I'd imagine you'd need to buy them in a large quantity.
yah a1 quoted me $1100 for h11 head studs and those are only a little bit better the l19 and not as good as 625+ when i was thinking some of the issues people where having was l19's stretching. those go for about $700-800 a set if they are on the shelf so 625+ would have to be probably $1600-2000 since normally on the shelf sell for $1000-1500. only thing cheaper ive seen for 625+ are r35 head studs around 800-900 couple places have em for $700 but even that price i question.

I sent another email to Assaultech to confirm that it is 625 + not arp2000.
Price for GT-R are around 750$ and for Evo 310$ but the evo kit probably uses less studs..

not sure because arp 2000 come in a arp box but l19 come in a plain white box. like i said before though your getting arp 2000 because arp dosnt make vq35 head studs in 625+ you have to custom order them and they WILL NOT be $300.
the $300 people quoted for evo's is JUST the head studs, no washers, no nuts, no lube for the kit its $400-450 and only have 10 studs vs our 16 and again its a custom order item you will have to call arp to order them and you will be lucky if its under $1300 our platform isnt like other platforms that regularly need something stronger not very many people build these engines to a power level that requires something like that.

Mine are black as well. So were all the others I installed.
Most vq shops keep L19's in stock for their engine builds. like someone mentioned, CALL THE SHOPS. If they build engines they will keep them in stock.
injectedperformance and import parts pro both show L19's in stock. I would assume forged performance and sound performance both have them in stock as well since they all build engines.

That I did not. I've always been told that's how you tell the difference.
I've been told that literally everywhere has them on back-order until March. I've personally talked to Forged, IPP, AMS, and Z1 and they've all said the same thing.

They need to update their websites then. ARP might be backorder but most engine builders will keep a number of boxes on hand so they can produce engines. Nothing says losing business like waiting 2 months to bolt some heads on a customer's engine.
Every time I've been to Injected they had stacks of them in their shop. I would shoot them an email. IPP and forged being "out" is shocking unless they are just not willing to sell the stock they keep for engine builds.
