Well, I would at least like to get a heads up. Really, I don't like for comments to be hidden somewhere else on the board. Put it where most of us can see it, not where none of us ever visit.

It seems like having a discussion about a vendor in some random thread amongst many on the same product is more difficult to locate than if it was in the Vendor Review forum.

Then when you want to check up on a Vendor you just look in that forum. Is it really all that complicated?

Well..... I was just over in the vendor review area and SSR is not listed. I tried opening a new thread to see if I as an individual could start a review on a vendor. It seems that only the administrators can start reviews.

Since that is the case, and forums are for information, I agree with little_rod that any relevant information about a vendor’s product or service should be in the open where people can see it. Where more appropriate than the thread that the vendor is discussing/promoting the product??

Now if the vendor posted a product or service in the classified area that would be a different story. You either buy or you don't there is nothing to discuss. All relevant info good OR bad is fair game if the vendor chooses to post it in the discussion area.

I for one appreciate knowing all of the information rather than just the good stuff. I think I am intelligent enough to make up my own mind on whether a product or service is good or not but I can't do that with out ALL of the info.

Just my thoughts and reasons why I use this board.

jak, we're going to be releasing the kit within the next few weeks, and we can let the customer reviews come in . I'll personally speak with an administrator as soon as we have some products that are available to the public.
