Looking good Ogie. My ride is doing okay- still have that AFR issue over 110kph that is shaking heads and making the driving experience pretty lame.

I'll let you know on the IPT 5AT...Ill use it initially to break it in, then, like a few others here, I'm looking at a GM tyranny.

Sad thing is, I keep finding more missing parts from when Get That Money GTM had my car...starter is gone, headlight ballast, turn signal socket and wiring etc...

That cokskr Sam Z. got about 3-5k off my car...too bad attorneys cost more..

Yeah I've seen them mentioned a few times but never seen anyone who has actually done it nor seen any feedback on how it feels versus what it can do. I know they're damn near bulletproof but at what "cost?" (In terms of street comfort)

On the street out of boost it will feel like a dog...in boost I will run much better tan an MT..

This s a 3 speed th400not 4 speed 4l80e...he states he had a 3.5 fd and 3.3 would be better on the ighway.....

The stroked motor should help with the out of boost doggy feeling.... that's the only feedback I have gotten with a VQ TH400 setup...

 

Hooray! Olympic coatings (Escondido, CA)? Actually does what they say....They resprayed my GTM RIPOFF rattle canned downpipes with REAL ceramic coating in 2 days time...even picked it up in San Diego, 1.5 hrs away and delivered...Now if everybody would give such great customer service! GTM placed bungs in wrong positions...My downpipes now have more bungholes than a gay **** site....

Little battery jumper setup in the old battery box for jump starting emergencies, will keep me from going into the trunk to jump it off the revised w/m/b box.

I'm beginning to think like resmarted..." I'll be done in 200 yrs." LOL

I am seriously considering the TH400 to replace my built IPT 5AT....I've been quoted roughly 8K with all parts and labor included, so I will be putting my fully built IPT 5 AT transmission up for sale in the next day or so in the marketplace (Tim has to take a photo with my username on it)..I'll also have a quaife for MT, stillen ceramic headers and a few other parts for sale.

Considered 4l80e, and it would be a better overall transmission, but for what limited use my car will be driven, the tried and true th400, adapter plates etc will be much cheaper, easier and simpler to install...so I have to shift 2 gears....OK....Actually, jakes builds auto shifting valve bodies also so....

Thinking of using the 2.75/1.48/1.0 gear set (normal is 2.48 1st gear)to help off the line...3.3 FD will help on the highway (wont be there too much)...

 

Tim got around to finishing the water/meth/battery box and here are a few pics of it 90% complete...lexan glass will cover the top with led's inside reflecting off the gold...holes in candy blue side are to be chamfered 1/4 inch 45 degrees and then have polished SS sheets installed behind them, giving a two-toned silver/polished silver look.. bolts will be black nrg fender washers with gold bolts....tryin to find a replacement for the ugly orange meth tank top....
still have to install the polished SS tank/battery hold down bracket.

Yea, well...that's my wifes idea with the clothes...the dog has more clothes than me and are on little doggie coat hanges...LOL! sleeps on tempuredic memory foam wooden raised bed with satin sheets!

Agreed. I have a few regrets about mine (not the least of which is that I did it at all)... Trans and turbo size are my biggest ones- I think I'm overbuilt considering those two weak points- and I've learned that I'm not exactly a fan of osiris since so few people in my areas have any familiarity with it at all.

 

welllll...I'm looking to sell my red box haltech for the 5 AT now as I am going to the PnP for E 85 and don't need the tie in to the stock ECU anymore with a GM trans...need a haltech instead of your osirus?
