Default My turbo 350z help please

I got my 05 350z 3 months ago and im not sure if it was ever tuned now im scared that i could have broken something. I dont know what to do. Im new to this and this is actually my first car. I have a turbonetics turbo kit with a treadstone intercooler i have injectors and fuel pump but other than that the engine is stock idk what i should do first to make my car not exploid lol please give me some advice and if u live in socal maybe some people to go to.

Should i go get y car tuned first then like looked over by someone to see if anything is wrong

Sometimes after driving the car when the cluch is out and im in nuetral i hear a rattlin sound when indepress the cluch it goes away. I have a act ss heavy duty cluch can anyone tell me what is the reason for that. Also my cluch squeeks from nuetral to first most of the time.

*sigh*....so you bought a turbo'd car and have no specifics on it and NOW you are worried...

The rattling you hear in neutral is your flywheel. If you had rod knock, it wouldn't go away with pushing in the clutch. If the car didn't have SOME sort of tune, it wouldn't run for crap because of the larger injectors, and it probably would have blown up if it was ever driven hard anyway. Who knows how well it's tuned, though. Might be worth your while to go to a shop that has UpRev and get your ECU scanned, or maybe just a local member.

With an F.I. car you gotta pay to play and not be scared if something breaks. Also having an F.I. as your only car is a bad idea.

It would really help if you used punctuation and complete words. No one is going to help you if they don't understand what you are trying to accomplish.

Sell the car or return to stock. Not joking.

Take the car to a good tuner; have them determine what your EMS is and see how your car is running....have them correct your tune as needed to ensure you have a safe tune...

The only Z shop I know of in SD is Speed Force Racing; some tuners I know of up here in SoCal is Church Automotive or Specialty Z...

Doing all these things may not be cheap; if you can't afford it then I would as some of the other guys in here are chiming and put the car back to stock...

If you want to get hands on and learn about this stuff then you have the perfect opportunity with your own car. I assume you're living in the dorms so take your car to the hobby/auto shop on the weekend. Take the kit off then put it back together so that way you will know how it actually goes on your car. If you don't want to do that then you might as well sell it because if you don't want to know how to install it then you wont want to know how anything works on it. First thing you should do is get the car re-tuned.

Thank you grimm i really appreciate that advice. I think there might be a place to take my car after work on base where i can do that. If i take it off after i tune it will i have to re tune my car. And is that practicle to do in one day? Take off my turbo and put it back on?

You won't have to re-tune since the tune is stored in your ecu. Since you will have access to a lift and all the tools you need you can do it in one day. Start after work on Friday and work into Saturday or Sunday if you have to. Installing an F.I. kit isn't all that hard but time consuming.
