Which turbo kit to beet Mustangs
Well if he wants to keep this block for a little while, I'd keep that boost at only like 8-9psi which should be like 380-400who depending on dyno. dyno And sorry about the miata man.Texas, don't you love those random hail storms.

Yeah guys, I'll stay right under the 400 range. Jared here at uprev is supposed to have a very good reputation with tuning the vq. If I have any doubt with it then I can always check out jtran studios in Houston.

Yeah my thought exactly... That ***** is STUCKKKK I actually bent a corner a bit just to get a razor blade in there. All pretty now. I'm missing the td05 gaskets that go between the turbo/downpipe... But the surfacing on them both seem fine. So maybe just put a little grease or copper rtv?
What mileage is the engine at at the time of turbo install? I've been wanting to do mine but at close to 100k miles, she's a bit tired for the added stress. Figure if I still have the thirst for more power, I get a better platform
Just hit 90k on mine, and about 4k boosted. For the most part as long as you regularly maintain your car. Should be fine. There is no way of telling how your motor really is unless you take it apart and inspect everything.
jareds a good guy met him and partied with the guys from uprev at sema 2 years ago. knowledgeable tuner for sure
Friend of mine snapped a rod yest in his G. We put the st kit on about 5k miles ago currently down at 130k. Not a good idea to boost at higher mileage IMO. 1-2k was about 8-10psi and rest was down to 5psi spring. Wideband afr was rich at low 10s all the time. Anything can happen anytime.
Can't a stock 2003-2008 Z beat all the V8 Mustangs (except the cobras)? From my experience I've beaten a 2004 mustang GT and a 2008 GT premium since I got my Z and I've seen countless other people with 350s, 300 twin turbos, and 370s beating Mustangs like it was their job. A stock Z will not be able to keep up with a E46 M3 though. I don't even want to mention how bad the E92 M3 will blow it out the water unless some serious mods were done to the Z. But from the looks of it, the build you got going on might do the job but at the price of turning the motor into a unstable nuclear reactor. I wish you the very best.
