Nissan has went gaga over my car laying the smack down on the boost and wants to fix my front bumper for free including parts and labor.

I had them put on the Stillen V2 and it cracked where the hood doesn't close right. I guess they don't want a highly modded and A/V dynamic flagship cruising around with a torn bumper (ghetto fabulous.)

While the bumper is off you will note on the driver side that there is a tiny cute little surge valve that I have chosen to upgrade for important reasons, non relating to sound or whoosh etc.

I want to make sure I get the right size though and a compatable one because this is going to be a one day one stop shopping trip and I am tired of taking off the bumper.

So I have heard HR4 and HKS tossed around but am I correct that NO ONE has replaced this ATI surge valve yet?

I have a week, because they are painting my new bumper, then it is pulleys swap (both) surge valve, bumper on and then I am heading to the track! Might as well get some runs in this dense cold air in February.

Don't let this go stagnant please it's important, I have to get to the track, I am having withdrawels, just yesterday I staged with a guy on my Mountain Bike and did a wheelie from the red light and he turned down a side street because I was making tire scratch noises. I did a Mountain Bike GTECH Run, I got it bad man!

Have you changed your ATI Procharger Surge Valve and did it fit good w/o any leaks or pressure losses if so insert brand and link of where to buy here please.

BTW, I am very happy to annoince that this is my second day off without ANY work since about May 2002

And it feels goooood. back to work tommorow though, need info I'm on the run!

 

N4SPD replaced his surge valve with a TurboXS H34......he said it swapped out great.......the H34 is built to handle 10 to 25psi of boost, and it just happens to be the same model that i just bought 2 nights ago on Ebay for $65.00.......the HKS hi-boost BOV's should work too, might require some welding though for the flange adapter

reasons i went for the H34:
1) its already been done by someone
2) the hose nipples make it a direct swap out for the surge valve

if you can't wait for an Ebay auction to come along......ptuning.com has it for $176.00

 

So much for that BS two day off thing they tried to call me in last night and I didn't answer the phone, now I just got 3 hours notice that I have to work a grave tonight. So much for sanilty I hate my friggen job!

Why is it that you are required to give 8 hours notice and yet they can call you with as little as 45 minutes notice?
