i am stuck in the middle of installing my vortech v2 kit on my '06 Z. i purchased the vortech oil return kit, and it says to get a 3/8" npt tap. one problem, the fitting that vortech supplied me is 5/8" in diameter.(i have also already used the 9/16 cutter to cut the initial hole (again, im no mathematician but pretty sure 9/16 is bigger than 3/8") how does this make sense, i must be missing something. i thought i'd try here before calling vortech to hopefully avoid long distance charges(i'm in canada). I've tried searching, and saw a couple other people with the same issue but there was no response. To find a 5/8" npt tap here locally is not an easy task, but is that what i have to do? anyone else run into this issue?
any and all help here is greatly appreciated!!

Hay Sequence,
You are O.K.
3/8" NPT is national Pipe Thread. it's based on the nominal inside diameter of the Pipe. So the thread is much Bigger that you would think, 3/8npt is Not 3/8". Pipe thread is also tappered, so it will tighten the more you thread it. So, take your time and cut the thread deep. Go by a 3/8" npt tap, very common.
Also, look at the threaded nipple that is installed there.
