Tuned on 91 octane, would like to switch to E85. My question is do i need bigger injectors to make the switch or will my 750's be okay?

Do you have a Fuel Return?

 

I’d guess you’d be able to make around 440whp with 750cc injectors on E85.

 

750cc Injectors are go for about 440whp @ 90%idc on E85

Pump will run out at 390whp on e85 even with a return system

These are just ballpark numbers.....

 

You will need a considerably larger fuel pump and with my results on a supercharger 750cc injectors won't be enough for your power goals. Superchargers eat fuel like crazy.

I've been running e85 for a few years now. When switching fuels the standard "40% more fuel" does not apply under boost. My boost map required 70-80% increase in fuel most areas. My vac map was 20-40% increase though. So under boost/power you will need way more than just 40% overhead. I found this out the hard way.

You can up your fuel pressure to help but it looks like you do'nt have a return system. Without a return system increasing pressure with boost those 750's will act more like 600's at 11psi so you won't even get a full 750cc out of them.

 

Thanks for the replies, I'd REALLLY like to get 500rwhp out of it, so to do that I would need a bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors, and a fuel return set up? Would 1000cc's be big enough or should i go up to 1200 etc etc

 

PTE 1200s are cheap and super easy to tune. i ran those for years before going to ID2000s.

 

I agree. 1000cc injectors or those PTE 1200's would be your best option.
