I unmarried it from my ECU long back when i went to Haltech.. it's ready to ship.. nothing else comes with the cable from Uprev other than the software on a CD (Laptop/Desktop PC, ECU, Internet connection, or a tuner, are not included)..
and you're better off downloading the software from www.uprev.com because the one i have is the old version.

ok if i understand ths correctly.
you have this cable..on this is a license stored.
so connected to the car and a laptop you must download the latest version from the site, whisch you can download because you have license key numbers?
and with this you can re-flash your stock nissan ecu software?
with a tunable version of software.. and this also can be brought back to stock? so you use your stock ecu only with new software?
pls let me know.

Yes, this cable has the license on it. you can use it to tune your car, download and flash ROMs from Uprev tuners or even Uprev themselves, read and clear codes, do live tuning, etc..
No, because when you flash or tune your car, the licesne transfers to your ECU and the cable is married to your ecu, means it will work on your ECU only.. once you decide to sell, you can un-marry (which will transfer back the license from the ECU to the cable), and that will return the ECU to stock form. So your car won't maintain the tune once you un-marry.
Consider this cable as the medium between the tuner and ur ECU.. you buy the cable, you will need a tune/flash/rom (from a reputable tuner or Uprev, or you can do it yourself if you know how to). If you decide someone else will do it, then you will have to pay the tuner his charges.
