Default to start up or to not start up(vortech)

I have nearly completed my vortech build on my 06 rev-up Z. 255 fuel pump, 570cc injectors, v2 sc-trim w/3.12, treadstone tr8L fmic, mrev 2 & spacer, test pipes, true dual exhaust. I will be taking the car to have it dyno tuned, but my question is, before I take it in, can i fire her up to make sure she's running? or is that a really BAD idea without any tuning? I ask this question because I don't want to tow it to the shop to find out it won't even fire up and then tow it home to figure out what the problem might be.

thanks

If it was me I would absolutely start it up - you want to resolve any issues so that your tuner can tune…I would let it idle and have a good look in the engine bay and make sure everything is operating as it should…I would then take it out for a few miles of easy (no boost) operation…get back home and let it idle down and do another look over of the engine bay…you want to put yourself in a position to be able to tune…you don't want your tuner adjusting belts, tightening bolts, moving hoses, etc...

Just take off the cog belt and don't drive it too hard.
