Default Procharger Supercharger find... Worth it?

Hey everyone, I hope y'all are doing well... SOO basically I finally gathered up a very decent amount of casholla to put into my car. At first I was just going to do a slow NA build; however, after long, extensive, sleepless hours of research, I found that the amount I would put into it wouldn't give me much gains... at all. SO, that's when I started to consider FI (never thought I would ever say that). Basically I was searching on CL and found a used Polished Procharger Supercharger for sale by a private owner with low miles. On top of it, he's throwing in aftermarket injectors and fuel pump (didn't elaborate on manufacturer or product... I will ask, though) all for $3700 OBO! I'm not too worried about it being used, but was just curious about everyone else's input. I'm brand new to SC's, so what questions should I ask? Is there anything I should look out for? Any input on Procharger Superchargers from actual users? Any input would be great. Thanks.

$3700 seems pretty high no matter the condition or the mileage…someone on here had one listed for $1800, I sold mine for $3300 shipped with extras added.

I had the procharger for about 4years/30k miles and like it quite a bit. Many good things about it. The bad thing about the procharger is that it is not scaleable…you will get 400whp and that is it. Dont expect to go any higher than that. Mine was pretty easy to install and tune, maintenance was easy and I was happy with the kit overall.

I recently sold it to go twin turbo to get the most out of my built block...

Thanks for your valuable response, bealljk. Since you had one, could you tell me if you encountered any problems in those 4 years? What should I look out for?
