Back story, I bought a Used APS Twin turbo kit from FFPWNER/Trapt350z. He even did the instal.

I have to go through all the pics and organize them better.

Bassically I have had the car and driven it for 6 days after it arrived. It got here 14 Feb 2013. Its been sitting bassically ever since. What has he done to help me out nothing.......... Had the nerve to tell people I messed the car up in the little time I drove it.

There was a blunt tapped to my dashboard, he did 160+ in my car didnt tell me but took a pic of it. Bumper wasnt even put on right at all. Scratches all on my car. Gauges come on when you stick the key in the ignition. Turbos were ate up due to the lack of a filter. Failed to even send the tube so I could run filters. Didnt send my Uprev. Stock plugs that were dead, clutch was barely tightend down. (things I noticed after the video)

I finnaly got that stuff, and I also have decided to build it now.

A local guy with a 700hp 350z (that actually runs and he knows wtf hes doing) help me out.

96mm Arias extreme duty low comp pistons (Purchased)
Corrilo H beam rods (Purchased)
ACL hx race bearings (purchased)
Cosworth 96mm rings (purchased)

Hr Gaskets (waiting)
Hr Studs (waiting)
Homemade Fuel return system (got a converted basket for AN lines and return)
Walbaro 485 pump (waiting)
New springs/retainers/seals (waiting)
cosworth Zk2 cam (maybe)

Blocks torn down to go to the machine shop already. Waiting on the rings and bearings to arrive.

New goal 500whp. So thanks Cameron for making my dreams come true of having a fast car. Hows your car running BTW?

How far are you from Waikiki? I may be headed there next month for a site survey. Putting together a quote to do video projection mapping on the Sheraton.

 

about 30-60 minutes depending on traffic, im in wahiawa/schofield barracks. hopefully aem will get this software issue figured out soon so i can get my car back on the road, sam apparently got there DE going and forgot to update me on friday. well that and new plates haha

Like I said he wont help me out, deleted me off facebook, on a group I was on on facebook, he was tagged in and people asked him directly what he was going to do about it............... He wouldnt respond. I spent alot of money on this, and trusted him with my car and all he did was tear my car up.

Almost forgot he somehow conviced 2 other people to do a turbo install. He told the first guy with a G35 coupe that I did all the stuff on the video and it was my fault. He didnt get that right either, and damaged his bumper and paint, car keeps running hot and some other things. The other with a 350z who is on this site but I wont name him. Realized how stupid he is, and decided to take his car to someone else. Because he knew it wasnt going to end well. I didnt have that luxury because I was already in hawaii, while he did this work in Virgina

 

I-Drive…Take this in the spirit in which it's intended...youre not gonna like this, but a small portion of this is your own fault…

did you rebuild the turbos before they went on the car?
did you inspect everything and anything before it went on your car?
did you do any of the work yourself along said Cam?
did you inspect any of the work before taking ownership of the car?
Did you research your installer(Cam) before you handed him your keys?

I obviously don't know the entire situation, So I can't say much beyond that…and I'm far far far from a master mechanic. When I had a guy install a built block in my car I researched him and his work and I insisted that I help him with the work…didnt ask for a discount or money back, I just wanted to be part of the process. I also had him drive the car for 20minutes with me before I took ownership, I was also present when he tuned the car...

With that being said - I'm sorry that a this **** fell on you…karma's a ***** and Cam will get what's coming for him…so don't worry about that…

It looks like you are on your way with a legit build and I will tune in and offer anything up I can.

 

did you rebuild the turbos before they went on the car? NO, they were on his car and was just selling the kit. The damage was from lack of a filter, in which he told me when he showed my dad the car that he was going to put on. He never did, and didnt even put one of the intake pipes on the turbo.


did you inspect everything and anything before it went on your car? The time I physically saw them I didnt notice anything out of the ordinary. I also wasnt looking them over hard because I didnt plan on buying the kit at the time I looked.

did you do any of the work yourself along said Cam? No I have physically seen my car a total of 17 days before I let him get the car. Well I put the Nismo bumper on, sideskirts, roof spoiler, rear splash gaurds. But as you can see thats all cosmetic not mechanical and would in no way effect the the turbo or install. I wasnt even in virgina at the time he took my car to install it.


did you inspect any of the work before taking ownership of the car? I dont know if you understand my car was stock aside from a JWT pop charger, all that was done was on his end. I litteraly bought it Dec 2011. 3 days later I went GA to finish AIT. next time I saw the car was in may 2012 for a total of 14 days. Then bought his kit and he put it on for me, somewhat.

Did you research your installer(Cam) before you handed him your keys? Ive known him for a year before letting him get ahold of my car. Talked to him often about things, and knew he was a so called Tech a honda dealer where I was at in VA. I also knew had instaled and removed his motor multiple times. I see why because he always messed something up. But at the time I was giving him the benifit of the doubt. Whats funny is my best freind didnt like him, alot of other car friends didnt like him, and my Ex Gf didnt like him either. They told me but I was like naw his alright.

 

he is tracking a good part is his fault, he has even told me that he should have had a clue by the fact that no one has ever seen cams car run despite being rebuilt 3 times now, or mayby its 4 i cant remember nor do i care. i can say some of the crap has made it a pain in the *** for me though, but im barely charging anything for my work and even discounted even further because i wasnt happy with the manifolds.

anyone who is looking at this a word from the now wiser, dont try to replicate aps manifolds with flanges and sch 40 pipe elbows just use the elbows to make new manifolds of fresh design.

 

If I had been there and saw this with my eyes, I would have stopped it. Also the fact he was driving my car all over the place over an hour south of where he lived late at night. Neve told me he was really got to me. So that was the problem he took advantage of me and my car beacuse Im over 5k miles away.

Yeah Jerimiah is right, I know I wish I never got it from him or had him do it. I knew better but I was like I wanna go fast, how can he mess this up. Its so simple take the motor out bolt it up, and put it back. New fuel pump and tune it. Ill be set. Its a bolt on kit, was I wrong. LOL

W.e. Yeah hes hooking me up Jerry only wants 45,000k to build the car..............................thats a joke. But yeah hes been there for me, becuase I had no clue what to do. Im still making payments on this ****.
