Default Vortech Non-Rev-up- Original vs Revised Belt Setup- Boost

Has anyone that has changed from the old belt setup to the revised setup noticed any changes in boost?

this was an update from vortech. only very old mounting plates has that original belt wrap.

My kit came with the revised and i imagine so has every non-rev kit since at least 2007 when i bought it.

But if you are not getting belt slip, there is no reason to change. If you dont know if your belt is slipping, log your boost and it should rise linearly to redline

My Vortech was installed in 07. I've been running the old belt configuration, but I had a grooved pulley go bad. When I looked into it, I realized I could bypass that pulley by changing to the revised setup.

My concern is if the revised belt setup may change the boost. I never installed a boost gauge. If someone can confirm that it will not change boost, then I should be fine. However, if it does, I might as well get a couple other things done and get it retuned.

it wont change your boost unless you had a slipping belt before. Impossible to know if you dont have a boost gauge.

Incase anyone needs it. On a 3.33 pulley:
Napa
25-060790- 79.462" does not fit
25-060795- 80.070" I meant to try this one but skipped to the next size. Not sure if it will fit or not.
25-060798- 80.326" fit and is what I am using
25-060802- 80.764" I imagine this shouldn't be used at all.
