Default Vortech- Cog Belt Tensioner Pulley

I just had to replace my cog belt tensioner pulley but I can't seem to find which way it should be installed. On the pulley, there is the one side that is flat and the other side where the clamp to hold the bearing in is. Which side is supposed to go which way?

No, the pic shows how the bolt is supposed to go. I am trying to figure out which way the pulley is supposed to go. The pulley has a bearing pack in it. So one side is closed to catch the bearing pack and the other side is open to put the bearing pack into. Once the bearings are in the pulley, there is a clamp that is inserted into a groove in the pulley to keep the bearing pack in place. I will take a picture when I get back to it.

+1, doesn't matter. For what its worth, I always had the retaining clips / rings pointed to the rear but that was mostly out of habit.

Cool. Just making sure. My bearing pack exploded on me and I wanted to make sure I didn't install it incorrectly way back when. I did have the retaining clip/ring facing the rear as well.

Can any answer my other thread? haha

^ sorry, can't help with respect to change in boost with old belt layout versus the revised setup.

So you were right about the pic comment.

When I went to install the pulley today, I realized there is only one way to install the pulley.

The smaller spacer next to the pulley has a small protrusion which inserts into the pulley. The bearing clamp has to face the engine.
