Nissan 350z vortech supercharger,injectors? v2 or v3?
I want to get a Vortech supercharger for my 06 nissan 350z but I dont know if ill need to replace my injectors fuel pump other fuel stuff etc. If I run the vortech v3 charger on the stock block will I need to replace the injectors etc? Also im a little confused on whether or not I should get the v2 or v3 charger. v3 it seems is easier to install and has a self lubricating system but is there any performance or sound difference between the two? Thanks

New fuel pump yes
Injectors yes
V3 has a different supercharger
Use Osiris instead of the ss box.
Concider upgrading to a larger inter cooler if your going for bigger power or live in a hot area.

Is there a power difference between v2 and v3? and thanks for the advice. I live in Texas so maybe ill need a bigger intercooler. Also would you recommend the complete kit then since it comes with injectors and fuel pump?

If your just aiming for 400whp it doesn't matter to much between versions. If your gona aim for a big power go v3.
The kit comes with a auxiliary fuel pump and a fuel pressure regulator. I'd say no and just get a 255lh or 340lh fuel pump depending on what you want.
The 440cc injectors or bigger depending on your power goals. Install the kit your self, just don't put in the injectors or charge pipe. That way you can drive it to your local tuner, and bam.

if you gona go for more power with a centrifugal supercharger get a v3. fixed.
the v2 and v3 have different sc trims, and the cost to upgrade from one two the other is quite expensive. also the v3 trim handles higher rpms a little better. throw in a 928 impeller, bracing for the actual sc gousing, pulley mods it gets quite pricey unto itself.
i had a v2, that i got for dirt cheap. so im just letting him know, just go v3 and be happy, aim for like 400-450whp with low boost and conservative tune. and just run it. if he decides to build the block and go for more, he'll not have to worry about as much.

Speaking of the t-trim, I was thinking of getting this kit since it's so cheap and buying my own bigger intercooler fuel accessories and what not, with a good tune will this be more powerful than the other kits? Or is it just a kit for people who want to put there own fuel accessories in?

Now I'll clarify, the v3 runs cooler and you don't have to tap the oil pan for lubrication. The v2 technically comes with more options for the impeller and bearings. If you go outside of vortech you have other options. Now I recommended v3 for op because ease of install. And it runs cooler, with higher rpms heat kills the bearings. Now not saying it's impervious to failure. The v2 is great, I had it. Nothing wrong with it. If you ever plan to get super sassy there's always the v7, and v4...hehe. Now if you check out 928, you won't see the v3 listed, they have to special cut it. There's a few people on here running around with them. Or you can get an off the shelf for v2.
You can get a tuner kit in v3 or v2.
It's for people running there own fuel and tuning setup. You'll generally make more power since the tune is made specifically for you, compared to a broad safe tune. Then you can do things like larger charge pipes and what not...but that's for down the line ; )

Than you're good to go, pick out the injectors and fuel pump you'll need and spearco makes a larger inter cooler that'll bolt in or you can snag the dimensions. Consider an oil pan spacer for your return line,Check out the vortech thread, read it all and you'll be set.

[QUOTE=Conway_160;10371936][QUOTE=npr350z;10371611] If your gona aim for a big power go v3.
This is why If you knew about the V2 T-Trim.
I explain why in post 12, it's just my opinion. Nothing wrong with either of them.
To op I hear nothing but great things about stop tech bbk, and I hear good things about the oem brembos with ss steel lines and race pads+ good rotors.
