ugh this is driving me crazy?!
is it that the v2 has a larger capacity of oil so it has a larger capacity of heat dissipation?
should we naught have even brought up the different trims or the 928 impellers?
was it the larger intercooler statement?

oh haha i had this page up when you typed that, i knows that. did i type it out in a misleading way?
what the v2 and 3 have 3.6 and the rest have 3.45?
but isnt the v7 in a massive casing and the v4 is 2/3 the size of it? and the v5 super tiny?
btw do you still make those braces for the housing?
ive been thinking about going boosted again, and just taking my time with the setup and just doing it too perfection...well for me.

Good info. for you in previous posts! I'll just add that mine is Stillen V3, has it's own coolant pump and system. Up front what looks to be an intercooler is a heat exchanger, the manifold has it's own liquid cooled intercooler inside of it. My kit didn't say on parts list, but I think my injectors are 570cc. Kit comes with bigger cap. Walbro fuel pump, UpRev cable/hardware; a very nice quality sc kit and it is a low profile setup; some of early Stillen's were more of a roots style that needed new hood installed or modified. I'd recommend this one for certain.

Cool I'll check them out
If your gona aim for a big power go v3.
I explain why in post 12, it's just my opinion. Nothing wrong with either of them.
To op I hear nothing but great things about stop tech bbk, and I hear good things about the oem brembos with ss steel lines and race pads+ good rotors.

If your just aiming for 400whp it doesn't matter to much between versions. If your gona aim for a big power go v3.
The kit comes with a auxiliary fuel pump and a fuel pressure regulator. I'd say no and just get a 255lh or 340lh fuel pump depending on what you want.
The 440cc injectors or bigger depending on your power goals. Install the kit your self, just don't put in the injectors or charge pipe. That way you can drive it to your local tuner, and bam.

Well I didn't want to scare him. For 90% of people the v3 will accomplish their goals. Anyone going for more than what the v3 can suffice, well they are looking at other housings among many other things. They wouldn't be in here comparing the two. For a person like the op it'd be great.
I should have clarified that in my opinion for the op that the v3 would be able to meet his needs and then some.
It's my opinion in this situation that the v3 would fit the ops needs, and be able to give him the power that he wants, and that the options for bearings and impellers exist out there for the v3. For the most part a v3 is a bolt on affair, and that to some it having it's own oil supply is better, compared to tapping into the engines. This has it's pros and cons.
But these are my opinions on this situation. They are both great, and if I did it again I'd have a v2.
Ream away or I won't learn anything.
