Default Small update

I haven't abandoned my car but I haven't had much time to work on it since exiting the car scene for a full time job somewhere else but I decided to run my car on the dyno just for the fun of it to see what it would do before I finally get around to yanking the motor out.

Originally I had planned to pull the motor because I damaged a hole(#4 has really low compression) while trying to get the exhaust cam control to work properly on my car. Never could get the exhaust side under control so I disabled the retarders and left the exhaust cams straight up(i know this cam angle is not ideal on revup cams for power) but left it like this so I could at least drive it around.

These pulls were at 18-19psi on pump gas with about 15deg of timing.

I think the system has a lot of potential. It made the same power and torque as my old setup and with less boost, very low backpressure(13psi of backpressure at 18.7psi of manifold pressure), less ignition timing and exhaust cams that are not optimally timed(I found the JWT s7 cams made the best power before with them set to 19deg and made the least power when left straight up)

Nice to see some updates from you. That ebp is very low with your boost, what turbos are you running? Good luck on the motor.

I am so eager to see your car finished at the track. I drive by your old shop and it always makes me think of your car.
