Put the kinetix back on this this. The cork gasket sucks and is a one time use. I just did this last week and there is no leaks

There's a gray version that is made for forced induction applications that is like $2 more

Hi guys, thanks again for all your help....without your help over these pass posts I wouldn't have gotten to far on this supercharger build.

I pretty much went from knowing 0 bout superchargers to installing my own with injectors, fuel pumps, pulleys, MAF's, and all the other goodies. Basically through asking you guys multi questions and youtube. Haha.

Well here's my update....I took everything apart today to check for air leaks, found that the tube was pushed off the turbine ( which was why I wasn't getting any HP on the dyno, stupid me). Put the gasket seal and triple checked my new plenum for leaks. Cranked the car up, an still the same issue.....rough idle, I'm not sure if I can take it to the tuner now an he can fix the idle with the tube secured on the turbine? . Or maybe a diagnostic check at tireworks would help pin point the issue.

Honestly I'm pretty much wanna throw in the towel

Default Procharger rough idle

Lol , I have a rough idle with my procharger set up also. If I remove the drive belt from the charger it idles a bit better but ever since I installed my procharger I've had a strange idle. Sometimes it idles perfect, others it'll drop down to like 600rpm.Hell it even stalled a couple times.
However I have a stock plenum with a motordyne 5/16 spacer. And highly doubt I have a vacuum leak after installing the charger.
PS,my Z ran mint prior to install.
Hope you find your issue as I'm sure mine will be the same lol

Wow, that's funny....same issue, is yours tuned on a dyno? My tune is NOT complete yet.

Well, when I installed my procharger I was using their dfmu just to get me going at the beginning of the summer.Right from the first start up it had a wierd idle.So no it hasnt been dyno tuned yet.Actually I ended up removing the charger belt and driving it for the rest of the summer without the charger going. But ever since that first start up my car has that damn wierd idle concern. No I didn't blow anything up as my car has just as much power as it did before it just has a fluctuating idle.
But now that the summer is over and the Z is going into the garage I will be starting yhe fight again lol.I have a Dw200 fuel pump,r35 570cc injectors, one step colder plugs and a Utec, that has already been tuned for a vortec so it'll be a close enough tune to get me to a pro tuner.

I should also mention that when I had the charger on I was making boost,I find it strange that there is a rough idle after my particular install since I was using everything procharger supplies with their kit. Also you had mentioned the three missfire codes, mine had a p0300,which is a random multiple missfire. But low and behold once I pullled the belt and cleared the code,it hasnt come back the whole summer/two months of driving.
It has been killing me having the charger sitting in my engine bay being unused .
If I end up finding the issue I will certainly let you know as I hope you'll do the same.
Ps I know I should have gone osiris but I bought the utec on an impulse buy and feel that I should at least try it after spending the money lol
