Default Back from the dyno! PowerLab single turbo & ProEFI 48 computer content

So, after a few months of downtime I finally got around to finishing my new fuel system! The new setup consists of the following:

CJM Stage 1 RFS
DeatschWerks 1000cc Injectors
Walbro 400LPH Fuel Pump (E85 compatible)
ProEFI CAN Wideband Controller Kit
Zeitronix Ethanol Content Analyzer & Flex Fuel Sensor

After the install was completed I took the car to ProEFI for tuning, with this car being my daily driver I wanted to keep the setup a tad conservative so I requested Jason keep the power around 530whp for now (which the car easily hit on 12psi). Once I got the car back I was blown away by how great it drove; Jason dialed in the ProEFI traction control, throttle control, and cam control. The entire setup has been working seamlessly (after I racked up a few miles on the car I took it back to ProEFI to finish fine tuning the drivability too, cleaned up just about everything) and I’m thoroughly impressed by the ProEFI’s traction control! No trouble hooking from a dig with awful 245/45r18 Federal 595 tires! previously I’d have massive wheel spin in first and second gear. The traction control alone was worth every penny I spent on the system (along with flex fuel!), made the car and power way more usable on the street as well as quicker overall. I honestly can’t say enough good things about the way the car’s setup now! It’s exactly where I’ve wanted it to be!

Big thanks to the guys at ProEFI! Shar (speedsniper), Rich (str8dum1), and Charles at CJM!

I’ll have a dyno posted as soon as I get the files from ProEFI… till then, here’s a teaser (killer deal going on too for anyone in the market for a new EMS too!):

also gotta note that dyno smoothing is set to 0!

Thats what a properly tuned car looks like. Everyone that has smoothing of 5 on their sheets should question their tuner why they are hiding data.

Enjoy!
