Default Which boost guage?

Hey guys, Im nearing the end of boosting my Z. (Check out my budget build) I am now looking for a boost guage as one of the final touches before I go get a tune. Which boost guage do you guys recommend? What should I be spending to get a decent guage? I would like to have a digital guage and I have seen some for $80 that look appealing and then I see some for $200 that are analog so that has me worried. Any pointers on a decent guage would be appreciated! thanks

Any Boost Gauge will work, I have a AEM one in my car, i had a crappy autometer one in my Ralliart they all do the same thing. The one you posted looks good, its all about personal preference.

I'm a minimalist in that I don't want a car that looks like a space ship in the interior, so I went with a boost (has a boost controller built in as well) and a AFR gauge in 1 52mm housing:

*Innovative Motorsports SCG-1 52mm boost + boost controller + AFR: http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/scg1.php

It's not cheap because it's a 3:1 gauge but if that's your style - something to consider.

I like my mechanical autometer boost gauge. I always use it as my reference standard for my expensive Proefi MAP sensor.

AEM True Boost

You get boost/vacuum readings plus a boost controller with over boost protection. The boost controller will allow you to fine tune your boost delivery.

Assuming he's doing this on a budget and doesn't have a standalone or some kind of boost controller (and is running WG spring), a failsafe will be useless (especially with an uprev setup). You have no boost controller to drop to WG pressure, no alternative map/ignition/fuel cuts to turn on, nothing to help you out

Op buy pretty much anything aside from an unknown Chinese brand. I know a few people with great experience with pro sports so I have a few in my car... Autometer works.

Do whatever you want. I'll upload a pic of my gauge setup if I can figure out how

I just bought the aem failsafe gauge for my build. Its wideband and boost in one with overboost protection. Good option.
