Update - 2/5/15

Hey there Charles, man at this point it's been ages to try to remember. The original shop ended up contracting out the engine rebuild I later learned and that was the shop that did the 3.7L conversion with the 370z crank and some piston/rod combo.

Haltech came in:

Slight update - 2/19/15

Boost/AFR gauge mounted:

The Haltech Elite ECU is alive in the Z!

The car now cold starts and idles on the Haltech - builder is making progress on getting up to speed on the system. The goal is to get the car tuned by the end of this month (wish us luck! hah)

Side note: the old gauge installed by GTM originally in the same spot as the new SCG-1 was in hot glue & JB weld style....

2/27/15 - Slight Update

662 was with a spike to ~17 but leveling off around 15psi
577 was on base actuators (12psi)

Hit a snag, the car is losing fuel pressure under boost (was fine for most of the night then started to go wonky like something crapped out in the fuel sys) so some diagnosing is going to have to happen there. Going to go ahead and get a dual pump as a precaution while we are at it to make sure that fuel will not be an issue. Once the dropping fuel pressure is solved we'll go back for the 15# mark.

Nice numbers!

Pumps usually make more noise when they're dieing... Could be fpr problem too.

Thnx, hopefully it will be something simple but also picked up a CJM dual pump setup from CZP just in case - hopefully that will ship soon. I had almost previously did it but opted not to. Kind of kicking myself for not doing it originally - be good to just have that extra insurance that fuel flow will not be a bottleneck once the fuel pressure is fixed. Least the motor is broken in at this point and it's all just tuning from here on out.

Be great to see what it can do with a full clean stable boost run around 15-16psi. I'm still floored by the power it made off just the gates, much less when the turbo's woke up a little more. Wasn't expecting that much at all. Was more hoping for mid 5, if that, on 91.

Well those would be nice numbers for a 3.5, but you have a 3.7. I'd bet you can hit 650 on pump.

And yeah I agree with fueling. Never can have too much injector, pump, or line. I've got -10 from dual 044 sumped into a -10 regulator out to my biggest restrictions which are the factory fuel rails into 2000cc id's. The fuel rails are perfectly matched for the -6's I have running into them so I'm not worried about it at all.

3/14/15 - Update

Twin pump in

Fuel pressure stable now, ended up with ~15.5psi and ~645/550, time to get the body panels back on and finish it up for pick up

Will post up some vids when I get around to that

Thanks Charles, and thanks for getting the twin pump done so quick! Was much appreciated!

All wrapped up and in full sleeper mode, only hint is the AFR gauge in the center factory 3 gauge pod

This is my idea of perfection,

That 37 crank swap was the cherry on top
