What are the shortblock specifics?

Can you guys give a potential 350Z owner some info on the 350Z shortblock. Is the crank, rods, and pistons forged? Are there any cast parts in there?

What's the stock compression?

forged crank, 4 bolt main, 10.3:1 comp., need to replace rods and pistons and close the deck is good idea as it is open stock.

Some friend told me the pistons are magnesium filled? True or False? If true, is this just for weight reduction purposes? How common is this?
