Default why oh why....

just learned today from the guys at protech that the greddy kit is made for the 6MT. this is of course after they already have my car and ive already ordered the kit. it seems that the wastegates don't fit in the normal position on a 5AT that they would on the 6MT, which is stupid. why make a kit that won't fit them all...but i guess thats my fault for not getting a manual transmission. if anyone has any suggestions that i could relay on as far as placement for the wastegates i would be much appreciative.

I have not seen a 5at, but I assume you could fab some adapters to place the wastegates away from whatever they are hitting. The wastegates may not function properly if the tube from the manifold to the wg is too long.

your installer should fabricate, and market, an adapter that moves the wastegate to where ever it clears.
