new numbers on e85/cams
Finally got around to putting the car on a dyno again to see what it was making.
I swapped cams out for kelford 272's and have since gone to e85 as well.
One line is at 25psi and the other at 28psi. I feel like the turbos still have another 5-10psi in them for power but I didnt have the wastegate springs on me to turn it up anymore and I dont have a boost controller back on the car yet.
Datalogs show backpressure is still under 1:1 so I think im going to put a smaller A/R backside on the turbos and see what it does too.

Damn that thing makes some power! How much did it pick up vs the pump gas and different cams?

Glad to see your car is back together. Going to attempt some 1/4 mile runs again?

Unfotuantly I dont have a comparison at these boost levels. It did do 700whp@18psi on pump though.

I think the smaller A/R coupled with rising rate boost is a great idea to flatten the torque curve (shift to the left). Right now you have absolutely no issue at the top end (which is rare with the vq35de!).

Might just put a 50shot on it too to keep people from getting a jump. Tq curve is built in traction control right now

I was wondering about the motor. As long as it's built, right?

Its just a generic sleeved/forged internals build at this point.

What are you using or going to use for traction control?

Just what's available in the haltech box. It's just by ignition retard right now as they don't have a true cylinder cut strategy. It will control it with boost too when I stop being lazy and plumb up a mac valve

the powerband looks just like my 6262's. figured the 5858 would come on quicker. I am running the smaller .63AR housing though

Next time I'm home I'm going to put the 0.63ar housing on mine and see how it changes things.
