Even tho this was a fast 20 posts ago, let's also not forget the 2j is an iron block. Where the VQ's are alumi.....
So to directly compare their design off that hides some variables. I'm not saying I don't agree but iron blocks are tanks which is why those motors can handle so much power. So to base its design for FI off of an aluminum one might prove a point but doesn't solidify the use of the design or show its "flaws" or "strengths" just off them being open or closed. It goes well beyond that.
