Yes, you will have to relocate the horns and my need to trim that bracket.

You will also need to make some mounting Brackets

The blowers get extremely hot. I ran a large vibrant intercooler and was seeing right at 140* on a 4th gear pull at night. I swapped to a tr1245 intercooler, and immediately dropped temps to right at 100* on a long pull. I logged the differences pretty close to back to back. I never measured before the intercooler but I imagine it would be very hot.

So there are two options:
1: Settle for a mere 450 HP from a stock V3 SCI kit
2: Go big mod the front of the car to fit a 12xx size intercooler and have a option to go 550 HP with a V2 Ti blower.


Going the V2 Ti route with a TR8L will probally give me to high intake temperatures.

If you go with the SCi trim, You can always send the blower to Vortech to get the Si trim upgrade, or go with the 928V+ billet impeller like I did and gain more HP capacity.

True but i want to get it right in one go. If i need to send it in for a 928 upgrade that would cost about 1800 dollars inc shipping because im not from the usa. Its cheaper to get a bigger unit right away.

And then tunning also very expensive over here. Its like 700-800 dollar to get a good tune on a dyno over here. so i dont want to do much trial and error and just get the stuff i need set it up best as possible and then hands off.
If im going the SC route im already spending more then planned in a attempt to get it right.

Things like:
New radiator
race termostat
Pathfinder cooling mod
oil cooling
ATi crank pully

Really add to the cost in a attempt to make it reliable. Most people just use stock cooling. I drove a HKS SC car once. On the highway and with some sprinting no problems.
But on the nurburgring while not driving near the limit of my capability's the engine temp was already rising and in 3 labs it used 1/3th of the oil indicator. And normally it had no oil consumption.

i dont want problems like that and i intend to drive it on the nurburgring a lot.
