Your engine should be good up to 7500 with the oil pump being the limiting factor. Your pulley sizing for the vortech will be the next determining factor.

I have been looking into the suckerpunch billet one.

How much can the revup pump handle?

Why not set it at or just after the power band?

Find your dyno sheet and set it accordingly.

Im bullt with factory heads like you and rev my DE motor to 7.2K rpm.

I have a flat poor curve from 6k-7.2k rpm but motor has been fine spinning to this on track for a good while.
