600whp gt3582r powerlab build
I guess I am posting today to see if I'm crazy for shooting for this number on a 2004 base gt3582r. I have been running my kit for the last couple of years tuned at 360whp and just having fun with it. It's not my daily driver by any means and i only have 12k miles on the kit. But now I've gone and saved up enough cash to make some decent power. To make a long list short:
weisco 11:1 pistons
eagle rods
Jwt c8 cams
1200cc injectors
450lph fuel pump
Aam return fuel system
Am I wasting my time trying to build on this PL kit like this?

Nope, I've done it and so has ThatV35guy. You just need e85 and roughly 20lbs of boost. We both also run the 1.06 turbine housing, you won't hit that number with the .82 that came with the kit. I'd also, seriously, consider twin fuel pumps. What are you going to use for EMS?

Definitely running E85. I just bought a UPREV license when i ditched the utec last year. Going to try to use that. Are you running high compression on yours? PSI was thinking mid teens since it was 11:1 compression. At 360whp right now i feel like the car is very quick. At 600whp is it too much or do you get pretty used to it?

Should be very possible with a built block, lots of boost and supporting mods.
Aka good headers, throttle body, MAF and other breather mods to flow it. Your turbo might but past 450 WHP many guys have said the motor starts to choke out on stock parts. But your list seems decent.
I'd also look at your kit. Those 12k miles might need a rebuild or refresh to house 2x the power. But with the right amount of $$ it's very possible.

I run 8.8:1 and ThatV35guy is 9.5:1. However, we're both stock cams. With cams and high compression I still bet you'll need 18ish lbs of boost to hit 600whp. We both have 'basic builds', built bottom-ends, built fuel systems, ProEFI EMS, headers, exhaust, we both run Competition 6-puck clutches, etc.
The big thing with the Powerlab kit is the 1.06 turbine housing. Also, does UPREV do flex-fuel? If you're gonna run E85, I'd seriously consider an EMS that can do flex-fuel.
With both our cars being on ProEFI, we both have great traction control systems. But the biggest issue with that power is tires. Run good tires. The nitto 555R's seem to work well on our setups. And use good judgement. I thought my car was fast at 390whp. And now I couldn't imagine less than 500whp.

Like previously stated you will probably need more than the single 450 pump with e85 to get you to that power level. My car made 527whp and 554 wtq on a mustang dyno at 16psi with the twin TD06 20g's. It's now on 20psi with a race gas pump gas mix. At 600whp I would also seriously consider switching to 15" wheels with some Mickey Thompson or Hoosier tires. My car on street tires was getting loose @ 60-70mph. Mine is a Manely turbo tough rods CP pistons and JWT C8 cams build with the CJM stage 3 return system and twin in tank pumps. I also upgraded my plenum and did some porting on the lower runners and lower plenum to help the cams.

Update
Made 605whp on e85 with 15 psi, I will post the dyno sheet after a couple of changes are made incase it makes a little more. The tuner said the turbo is maxed out. But we might be having some wastegate issues. I think I should have listened and bought the 1.06 exhaust side.
