Default FRS fuel return system low boost build

Hi guys, yes I've read all of the turbo/noob stickies and hours of debating threads on the FRS subject. Many threads here are 10 years old from the Mayhem guy and a couple other threads. I'm just wondering if, over a long period of time, say 5+ years, someone has run their low (7) boost build without a fuel return without any ill effects, but with a good tune? I know it's recommended and safer, as well as easier to tune with a frs., but have also read it's doable. I will get a frs system if it's necessary, not looking to cheap out, but instead would love to direct the funds to some tires, suspension and other needs. I know a safe motor build is a lot more important than tires. I'm building for the popular, "safer" 380whp area that would leave the block stock.
I'm doing a pieced together build, Borg Warner k27, Turbosmart accessories, AEM gauges, Walbro, Bosch 560, Mishimoto Z IC, Z1 test pipes, Z1 clutch kit, probably Osrisis depending on which tuner I use.

Just looking for a little insight. Will get the CJM 0 stage from Z1 if necessary.

I suppose I should add that it's a Sunday garage queen, not tracking it or anything like that. Only 15k original miles.

Not needed, I'm at 7psi and 395whp no problem.

Very interesting! Just curious, which fuel system mods do you have, the usual Walbro, drilled fpr and 600 injectors? ECU flash?
Sounds like a good place to be hp/psi-wise with the stock block.
