What are the most important gauges? I was thinking the AEM A/F gauge but after that im a lil unsure. I know I need a boost gauge but not sure which one. I want one thats in PSI not bar if that possible. After those to what else would be useful? How do these gauges hookup? Sorry for the dumb questions but I never worked with these b4 and trying to plan everything down to the "T"

I know how you feel. Guauge are very much a personal preference decision. I ending up going with the AEM A/F and a Defi mechanical boost guage (one of the few guages in PSI). If I was going to do a third guage, I'd probably choose EGT or Oil Temp. In my mind, I wanna know the boost level, and whether my A/F is within spec....that's it.

In terms of installation, the boost guage connects to vaccum line somehere near the manifold so it can measure the manifold pressure. I like the electronic boost guages, since it eliminates the possiblity of a kinked hose. Trouble is that all of the electronic guages I saw were BAR readings instead of PSI.
