Default E-01 Install

How hard is it to install an E-01, is this something that I can do myself or should I get it professionally done?

It's easy. It just needs power and you need to wire up the map sensor and boost control solenoid. Naturally if you do not have experiance doing such things I would say have it installed. It's not 'plug and play' you need to tap and solder, etc. If your talking about the e-01 , not the profec, just the e-manage programmer that's even easier because it does not use any sensors. It just needs power.

I would like to get the one with the sensors, but i already have a boost & EGT gauge, do you think that would be a problem? I guess i just want to try to install something myself and not have to run to the installer for everything. I don't plan on tuning up the boost "yet". i just like the display and the logging features of the e-01 reminds me of the skyline.
