Which supercharger is louder at idle vortech or the ati. I'm undecided to what supercharger to get. For those of you that have either what are your pro's and con's about both of them.
ATI is very loud at idle and when driving. You hear both the compreesor whine and lots of air noise from the intercooler. I have never heard the Vortec kit on a 350z, but have on a mustang and the ATI was louder. Louder in a good way though. ATI has more of a muscle car type sound to the idle. Don't get the "HO" kit from ATI get the "Tuner" kit and send your ecu to TS. Then purchase some injectors and you'll be set with no tuning required.

I have just received the Power Enterprise 380 cc injectors. These are currently the only injectors that TS says to use and are very hard to come by. A shipment will be arriving this week from Japan and then they will be on back order for a while again. Techno Square provided all the timing and air/fuel programming and some other cool features too. The kit, If purchased as a "tuner" kit, should cost somewhere around $4500 with both pieces polished. Try going to www.superchargers4less.com for the best price. The ECU will cost about $650 after round trip. Injectors can be found at www.RBmotoring.com for about $870. Install is pretty simple but when your ready to do it I can answer any questions that you should have. Because you will have them. The instructions are only 95% correct. Trust me the ATI kit really easy to install and if you choose TS/PE you will never have to worry about tuning. I would check the A/F once in a while to reassure everything is working properly.
About HP gains, it is endless but with a stock Z 360rwhp is no problem.
